10. Shipping and Delivery
Delivery is subject to our Shipping Policy.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information and ensuring that the delivery location is suitable and accessible.
The customer must ensure that:
- Roads and entrances are accessible;
- There is sufficient space for delivery;
- The ground is reasonably suitable for container placement;
- Overhead clearance is sufficient;
- Gates and access points are wide enough;
- No unauthorized vehicles or objects obstruct the delivery area.
Additional transportation, storage, waiting, or re-delivery charges may apply where delivery cannot be completed because of customer-related site conditions.
11. Delivery Delays
Estimated delivery dates are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed unless specifically confirmed in writing.
SEA-CAN CONTAINERS LTD. is not responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including:
- Severe weather;
- Road closures;
- Traffic;
- Carrier delays;
- Mechanical problems;
- Labour disruptions;
- Government restrictions;
- Natural disasters;
- Transportation shortages; or
- Other unforeseen circumstances.
12. Inspection Upon Delivery
Customers should inspect their container upon delivery.
If there is visible transportation damage, customers should photograph the damage and document it on delivery paperwork where possible.
Any significant issue should be reported to SEA-CAN CONTAINERS LTD. as soon as reasonably possible.
13. Returns and Refunds
Eligible purchases may be returned within 30 calendar days of delivery, subject to the conditions contained in our Refund & Return Policy.
Returns require prior written authorization.
Once an approved return has been received and inspected, applicable refunds will generally be processed within 7 calendar days.

14. Used Container Condition
Customers purchasing used containers acknowledge that used containers may contain normal signs of previous use.
Such conditions may include dents, scratches, rust, paint fading, floor wear, door wear, previous repairs, and other cosmetic imperfections.
Unless otherwise stated in writing, these normal characteristics do not constitute a defect or guarantee the right to return the container.
15. New Container Condition
New containers may have minor cosmetic imperfections caused by manufacturing, handling, transportation, or storage.
Such minor imperfections generally do not affect the container’s intended use or structural integrity and do not automatically qualify for a return.
Significant defects should be reported promptly after delivery.
16. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for:
- Providing accurate contact and delivery information;
- Providing accurate billing information;
- Ensuring the delivery site is accessible;
- Obtaining any required permits or approvals;
- Ensuring the container is used safely and lawfully;
- Inspecting the container upon delivery;
- Following applicable manufacturer or supplier recommendations;
- Maintaining the container after delivery.
Customers are also responsible for complying with applicable municipal, provincial, federal, zoning, building, environmental, and property regulations.
17. Permits and Local Regulations
The customer is responsible for determining whether permits, approvals, inspections, zoning permissions, or other authorizations are required for placing or using a shipping container at a particular property.
SEA-CAN CONTAINERS LTD. does not guarantee that a particular container or intended use is permitted at the customer’s property.
Customers should consult the relevant municipal or governmental authority before purchasing where permits or restrictions may apply.
